When our favorite restaurants are open again, we will once again resume our monthly “Late Last Supper Club” of Encanto Community Church where we enjoy an evening meal together at a local restaurant. The eating establishments are extremely varied, occasionally exotic, and always delicious. Indeed the “flavor” of these culinary adventures is perhaps best understood by considering that the past couple of years have included excursions to Delhi Palace, La Pinata, China Chili’s, Babbos, Khyber Halal, The Old Spaghetti Factory, Thai Rama, Z’Tejas, Cherry Blossom Noodle Café, TexAz Grill, Carlos O’Brien’s, Spinato’s, Haus Murphy’s Christo’s, Greektown, McGurkee’s, Takamatsu, Dillon’s, Sakura’s, Zinburger, and Taco Guild (in no particular order).
Unless there is a calendar conflict, we dine together on the first Wednesday of each month, meeting at the appointed restaurant at 6:30 p.m. Information is usually distributed via e-mail to interested parties with reservations being made in advance. The invitation is open to all adults and mature teens, with each person paying his or her own way. Come join the fun and guess why we’re called “The Late Last Supper Club”!
